We completed the branding of a commercial and residential plumbing business that serves the San Gabriel Valley. One of it’s principles is Derek Nakamura, an amazing technician when it comes to the world of plumbing. He and I have been friends since kindergarten, so I was honored to be asked to work with him on this. He wanted an 1800’s design that featured one of California’s greatest pioneers and investors Elias Jackson “Lucky” Baldwin. The designs were mostly hand drawn and then vectorized for scalability. It was a pretty complex project to emulate the old-school design techniques of the 19th century. The brand will be incorporated into print collateral, a website, vehicle graphics and other mediums.
