This is one of 789’s very first projects when we launched in 2009. Our client was called Caffé Sospeso. A caffè sospeso (Italian: suspended coffee) or pending coffee, is a cup of coffee paid for in advance as an anonymous act of charity. This was the brain child of Alberto Song Trujillo, a guy who explained to us that life is simply better with coffee. Alberto is a rare certified specialist (several times over) and well-respected expert in selecting and roasting coffee with the highest international standards for quality. He believes in traditional and sustainable methods for growing, harvesting, processing and drying, as well as selecting and roasting his own coffee and supporting local farmers. He truly believes in excellence from seed to cup. We loved this project, and loved the team behind Caffé Sospeso. This was one of our first branding projects and are so happy to see them achieve everything they talked about six years ago.
