This was another fun project, we nerds at 789 had the opportunity to work on. The Hostess is a new website launching soon that will provide all of you DIY and professional party planners with unique and innovative products to help your event stand out and be memorable. I can’t share what kind of products specifically right now… but they will definitely leave your guests wanting more and will just about guarantee chatter at the water cooler the next day. The Hostess and its line of creative event products is the brainchild of Carlene Moore, a seasoned and infamous event planner. We helped brand The Hostess with a light and airy, hand drawn feel utilizing a muted color palette with a mint highlight. The main icon is a vintage inspired dress with a heart-shaped neckline featuring a layered 1950’s apron and decorative bow. The dress/apron is encapsulated with two different options to anchor the icon to its respective medium. The logo is component based, so its elements are meant to work together, but can also be broken apart to provide flexibility in developing its line of products and marketing materials.
