Changing Up the Water Game
Creating a fun, informational campaign
for Western Municipal Water District.
Western Municipal Water District worked with 789 to provide campaign development and creative support services for an awareness campaign called “Change It Up.” Services included campaign strategy, design, web assets, social content, video, and environmental signage. The campaign featured a set of ‘plant’ personalities that have hacked WMWD. We highlighted and emphasized the ‘hacking’ via all communication mediums as a guerrilla marketing campaign geared towards sending the primary message of outdoor water use (landscaping). The campaign consisted of a micro site, social media campaign, support print materials, video(s), in-person signage/decals/stickers, and a recommended ad campaign and potential pop-up, in-person event.
